Travel Documents

On this page, you will find general information about identification, visas, and health formalities.

As a traveler, it is your responsibility to obtain additional information from the relevant authorities regarding travel documents and any visa requirements. You should also check in advance whether the information you received earlier has not changed. For more information, visit the website of the Dutch government.

Corendon assumes that you have Dutch or Belgian nationality. If you have a non-Dutch or multiple nationalities, we highly recommend you to contact your embassy or the embassy of the country you plan to visit for information on the required travel documents.

All children must have their own travel documents. Additional border formalities may apply for single-parent (divorced) travelers with child(ren). After booking, you are responsible for having the correct travel documents, necessary additional information, and for checking that everything is still up-to-date at the time of departure.

Therefore, check the validity of your passport or identity card and that of your fellow travelers in a timely manner to avoid disappointments.

Your travel documents will be checked both at check-in and when boarding. If it is determined during check-in or boarding that your travel document is not valid for a sufficient period, and you are denied boarding, the costs for an emergency document and a new ticket will be at your own expense. If, for any reason, the validity of your travel document is not properly checked during check-in, and this prevents you from applying for an emergency document in time, this is never the responsibility of Corendon. You are always responsible for having the correct travel documents. If you need to apply for an emergency document, please be aware that not every country accepts emergency documents, and the required validity may vary by country.

If you are taking medication, be sure to bring a reserve supply with you. If the use of medication is important to you, also carry an English-language statement regarding your prescribed dosage, etc., so that local doctors can assist you better in case of emergencies.
