128–bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology is used on this website. SSL is a security protocol supported by all web servers and browsers. It ensures that submitted information is decrypted by the certificate holder. On SSL secured sites information is encrypted automatically before submission and can only be returned to a readable format with the proper decryption key. It verifies the authenticity of both sides (user and server) and thus protects the integrity and privacy of information.

The security level of SSL depends upon the size of the session key. The most secure SSL session key is 128-bits and provides high security for online trade interactions. It is almost impossible to hack or decrypt a 128-bit encryption and a possible decryption is only valid for one session.

For browsers supporting 128-bit encryption, the settings are as follows:

For Internet Explorer:

Go to Tools and click the Internet Options menu. In the Internet Options dialogue box, select the Advanced tab. Scroll down until you see the Security section. Make sure that SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are selected.

For Netscape Navigator:

Click Preferences under the Edit menu. In the dialogue box, select the Privacy&Security tab and then scroll down to the Security section. Make sure that the options “Enable SSL version 2” and “Enable SSL version3” are selected. Scroll to the SSL section and make sure that all options except “No Encryption with an MD5 MAC” are selected, under the Edit Ciphers option.
